I'll give you some credit for a good storyline, but that's really the only thing you're going to earn points for from me. Honestly, the art could have been much better, and the fighting style just plain bites. If you got surrounded in a battle, you might as well just give up, refresh and try again cause there is a lack of a way to actually block attacks.
Another thing I noticed is that strain just ruins the game. To be completely honest strain rises too high too fast, and then takes forever to cool down if you hit 100%. In other games I've played there may have been a cool down feature where you were temporarily stunned until it cooled down, but not to 0%, 0% is just being unfair to the player cause it takes far too long to reach it from 100% and they will easily die with just one opponent on the field.
And that brings up another problem, enemies deal far too much damage, like I said, if you are stunned by strain and there is even one enemy on the field that is a golem or higher, you're pretty much gonna die, fair? No.
Also, at the beginning of the game the one who you're traveling with says your soul burst attack, which drains all your SP could kill any boss, which is completely wrong. After you reach the cursed sword with that weird orb you have to hit to actually do damage, the soul burst does oh... maybe 1/4 of it's health.
And on the topic of the boss battles, let me say just how aggravating and unfair or unmatched they are. In the fight against the boss ghost sword, you have to attack the orb, which is more often than not, far off from the sword itself, which just makes the sword open strange vortexes right where you are, draining your health and your SP, making it so that it's almost impossible to get in more than one hit at a time, and with your SP being drained by the vortexes you'll be doing less and less damage every time. Another thing about that same fight is, that the orb will constantly change to the other side of the field, making it so that you have to move past the sword, which is guaranteed to get at least one hit on you every time no matter what you do.
Now on to the fight with Ingrid, at this point, this one was especially aggravating, her attack where ice comes out of the ground is virtually impossible to dodge because the order they come up in is unpredictable and your jumps don't last long enough to keep you in the air from start to finish of even one ice shard coming up and hitting you. Now on to the fact that she flies out of reach, you've made it so that she can just stay at the top of the screen and just hammer us with her annoying ice attack that we can't dodge. Now on to the most aggravating of them all, the first assassin battle.
This battle just goes beyond any limit of unfairness I have ever seen in any game before, and the way your character battles does not help with it whatsoever. Once he has hit you with his ninja star or whatever, he rushes in on the side you are not facing and hits you, making it so you can't turn around and you can't strike back, making it a pain in the ass to even land a hit on him, let alone kill him. And when you do land a hit on him, he just appears in the sky, out of reach of your sword and throws knives at you, making it so that unless your back is to him and you phase towards him, you're guaranteed to get hit. Not to mention his annoying phasing in and phasing out, every time after he attacks he either phases out and appears behind you and attacks you with a dagger or sword or whatever, or appears behind you where you can't see him and throws another ninja star at you.
And now that we are at the point of archers attacking you when you can't even see them on-screen, let me just say how unfair it is to let them do that, if you don't know something i their, you can't know that you need to dodge it, and if you are fighting another monster than you surely can't dodge it because once you swing the recovery time is long enough that you couldn't jump to avoid the arrow if you wanted to.

Seeing as how a flash is supposed to be rated on what the creator of the submission makes, and you didn't actually MAKE any of this, just took all of the clips from other flashes on the site, I can't give you a good score. Don't get me wrong it's a good compilation of everything that was great this year but seeing as how you didn't make any of it I don't see how it would be fair to give you a good score.

True. Can't argue with a thing you said. But the snowpants rule is non-negotiable.
Yo momma wears snowpants to Woolworth's.

Honestly, I don't know what isn't wrong with this game. The music is annoying after the first 30 seconds of hearing it, the character was poorly drawn, and frankly it's impossible to jump even one car, unless you do it at exactly the last second you can't make it, and if you wait that long you die when you didn't even get hit by the car, and any other time you hit either the roof of the car or the very end of it, and I looked at the background, on the bottom line of it where the cars are going past, one car basically goes right through another, which is impossible, the explanation of the actual game sucks, "You stand in the middle of the highway and jump over cars because you're retarded or something" yes, you were highly creative with that...
In short, spend more time on your games, make the character look like something other than something that came out of MS Paint, make sure that it actually works, come up with a better idea, and read up on how cars can't drive through other cars, and it wouldn't hurt to have some non-annoying music.
Author's Response:
it is possible.
the point of a game is that you're supposed to TRY.
And when did you see "cars driving through other cars"?

Honestly, some more experienced flash artists should have been in this, because let me tell you, the only contributions that were actually well done were the ones from Coldreaver and studio-nightbird, all the others were poorly done and short. As for the people saying "Well it doesn't make sense" it's because you have the attention span of a two year old, if you looked at the works of each artist (or some of the artists anyway) then you would have a total clip made by the artist. All in all, pretty poorly done, I gave the six because there were some contributions that were actually decent and not something done that looked like MS Paint threw up all over the flash.

Honestly I found this to be one of the least pleasurable games I have EVER played. Just the first level is aggravating as absolute hell, and you have to progress so slowly or else it just flies off and you have to start all over, and don't get me started on the second level, it is completely aggravating in any way possible, you can't barely move the wheel or the ball will just roll right out, and when you try and stop that by going the opposite direction you just have to do it all over, and honestly I just stopped right there because it was that boring and aggravating. So yea, completely unplayable, so 0/10 0/5

I have to say this is pretty good, even for something that was mouse drawn, I mean you didn't go into extreme detail or anything but it's still pretty good, but there always seems to be some lag no matter where I set the quality at, but other than that this is pretty good.

While I do believe the first one was amazing, this one was just great. For one, the animation is very smooth, and the graphics are incredible. It really does show that people can help others if they really try to. Unfortunately, all good things, just like this, come to an end, and I will admit it is sad. I am not embarrassed at all to say that my eyes did begin to water when I was watching this. I am glad to say that this will be moving to my favorites list.

Don't get me wrong, the idea for this was good, but there were just some things that brought this down. For one thing, the quality on the thing was, to be honest, very crappy. Also, I thought this was supposed to be a SHORT, it's what, 2,3, maybe 4 minutes long? I'd hardly call that a short. It also seemed like you weren't really going for any sort of type (comedy, sad, etc.) because, as soon as it got sad, you ended that with the ending, which, I might add was kind of lame...

Honestly, I'm disappointed. Cause, really for one, there's barely any change in the enemies, which makes it get repetitive and boring. Powering up traction pretty much seems like a waste of skill points cause it barely helps at all, the only thing really worth upgrading is speed. You don't get an upgrade for most things after like, the fourth time you pick up the power-ups so there's no point in having them drop them after the fourth time. The points system is buggy, I was killing everything without missing any shots and my score was still going down. So yea, all in all, bad game, try again another time and make sure everything actually WORKS. 2/10 1/5.

Disregard what people say about not using archers, they aren't that good at first, but when you upgrade them, they can do long range attacks which really help, especially since when you hit an enemy they push them back a little bit, also upgrade your swordsman and your miner's rate.
Also, make sure to buy one more miner at the beginning of each round(except elite battle and final battle) and if people haven't noticed, when you control a miner, it get's more in it's bag than the npc's do with each swing, thus making you money quicker, honestly I never found spearton's to be useful, because a fast, upgraded swordsman is much less inexpensive and can be much better if in good numbers.
Also, if you ever find yourself being attacked by archers and your warrior's doing nothing, quickly take control one of them, command them to attack, take out the archers and then order them to go back and defend, until you build up the maximum sized force(20 people) also, on the last battle, miner's are a definite important type you'll need, because, believe it or not, the monument your enemy has, comes to life, and you'll need all the soldiers you can get, and soldiers cost money, so get about 4 or 5 miners and make sure they have proper guarding at all times, and plenty of archers and swordsman, and maybe a mage or titan(depends on if you have them upgraded or not).
